The Secret of Soft Homemade Bread Using an Electric Stand Mixer

Have you ever tried making soft bread at home, but the result didn’t turn out the way you hoped?
Sometimes the dough becomes too stiff, other times it is so soft that it sticks to everything. And at times, the bread bakes unevenly: some loaves look golden on top but are still raw inside, while others turn out dry and lack that fluffy, sponge-like texture we always dream of when we hear the words soft bread.

Even though you follow the recipe step by step and use the best ingredients, the result is still “unsatisfying”… leaving you feeling frustrated and wondering:
What is the secret that makes bakery bread so soft and uniform, while homemade bread sometimes lets us down?

Let me share a little secret I discovered recently a simple secret, but one that has made a huge difference in my kitchen and literally changes everything.
This secret has nothing to do with a strange ingredient or a complicated step but rather with a smart tool that may already be in your kitchen without you even realizing its true value.

Since I started using this tool the right way, my dough has become softer, my loaves have risen better, and the taste of my soft bread is closer than ever to bakery bread, sometimes even better!
In this article, I’ll share this secret with you step by step, so you can also make soft, evenly baked, and delicious bread from your very first try.

Because you deserve homemade bread that your kitchen can be proud of, before it even delights your family.

The Secret to Soft Homemade Bread Lies in This Smart Tool

What is an adjustable rolling pin? And why is it worth trying?

If you love homemade pastries and bread, you’ve surely experienced unevenly rolled dough: one part becomes too thin and burns quickly in the oven, while another part stays thick and raw inside.
This is where the adjustable rolling pin (buy it here) comes in as a smart and simple solution that completely changes the game.

The adjustable rolling pin is a rolling pin made of stainless steel, featuring a practical design that allows you to have full control over dough thickness with ease and precision.
This rolling pin comes with four removable silicone rings in four different sizes:

  • 2 mm
  • 4 mm
  • 6 mm
  • 10 mm

Each ring is attached to both ends of the rolling pin and acts as a “height guide,” giving you a perfectly even dough thickness every time — without guessing or having to re-roll the dough multiple times.
The result?
Uniform dough, evenly baked bread and pastries, and a professional look worthy of high-end bakeries.

Its amazing benefits in baked goods

One of the things I loved most about using the adjustable rolling pin is how it maintains an even dough thickness every single time.
No more loaves that are thick on one side and thin on the other, that problem used to ruin many of my recipes and caused uneven baking and inconsistent shape.

Thanks to the smart height-control rings, rolling out the dough has become much easier and more precise, which means evenly baked bread with a soft, fluffy interior and a beautifully golden exterior.

It is also non-stick and easy to clean even with wet dough, so there’s no need for long scrubbing or annoying soaking.
It is ideal for preparing:

  • Pizza
  • Biscuits
  • Pancakes
  • All types of bread and pastries

In addition, it is made of high-quality stainless steel, making it long-lasting and rust-resistant, a reliable tool that will stay in your kitchen for years without letting you down.

I used it in this recipe I’m about to share with you, and the result was truly amazing:
soft, glossy bread with a perfectly uniform shape — as if it were baked in a professional bakery, mashallah. This is exactly what made me rely on it as an essential tool in my kitchen, not just an extra accessory.

Soft Samoli Bread Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose white flour

one tablespoon of instant yeast

Two tablespoons of sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup vegetable oil

1 cup warm milk (for extra soft bread)

Half a cup of water as needed

One egg and a spoonful of milk for brushing

White sesame seeds and black cumin seeds for decoration

How to Prepare Soft Samoli Bread

Prepare the dough using the electric stand mixer available at this link here

Mix all the ingredients until a smooth, non-sticky dough is formed. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for one hour.

Roll out the dough using an adjustable stainless steel rolling pin (choose a 4mm ring). Roll out the dough easily and steadily, and you’ll notice it doesn’t stick to the rolling pin, unlike with a wooden one, especially when rolling out dough for bread making.

Shape the dough into small fingers or loaves, and place them in a baking tray.

Second proofing: Leave the loaves for thirty minutes to rise again.

Brush the bread with the egg and milk mixture, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and nigella seeds. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius until it turns a beautiful golden color.

Result

Homemade bread, soft and fluffy inside, shiny on the outside, with an irresistible appearance and a very delicious taste; the aroma of freshly baked bread fills the entire house.
